Serving communities across Delhi with compassion, dignity, and purpose since May 2013.
Mankind Welfare Organisation is a Delhi-based non-profit organisation founded in May 2013 by a group of passionate individuals who believed that one act of kindness could change a life. Starting with a handful of volunteers and a small food distribution drive in Karol Bagh, we have grown into a community of dedicated change-makers.
Over the past decade, we have served more than 20,000 individuals across Delhi — feeding hungry families, providing life-saving medicines, supporting underprivileged children's education, caring for stray animals, and mobilising relief during crises including the COVID-19 pandemic.
We operate on principles of compassion, transparency, and community. Every rupee we receive is used with accountability, and every life we touch reflects our belief that dignity is a right — not a privilege.
The principles that guide every decision, every drive, and every act of service we undertake.
To serve those in need with compassion, dignity, and sustainability — ensuring that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, receives care, support, and hope.
A society where no one is left behind — regardless of caste, creed, or circumstance. We envision an India where every person has access to food, healthcare, education, and dignity.
We believe in grassroots action — working directly with communities, listening to their needs, and designing programs that deliver lasting, measurable impact, not just temporary relief.
We serve with empathy and warmth, treating every person with the dignity they deserve.
We are accountable to our donors and communities — open about how we work and spend.
We build bridges between givers and receivers, creating lasting bonds of solidarity.
We design programs that create lasting change, not just short-term relief for the people we serve.
A decade of compassion, growth, and community impact — milestone by milestone.
Mankind Welfare Organisation was established in May 2013 by a group of compassionate volunteers with a simple goal: no one in our neighbourhood should go hungry.
We scaled our food distribution beyond Karol Bagh, launching regular community langars and emergency ration drives across multiple Delhi localities.
Recognising the suffering of stray animals, we introduced daily feeding stations and veterinary support for street dogs and cattle across Patel Nagar and surrounding areas.
During the pandemic lockdown, we mobilised 200+ volunteers to deliver over 10,000 meal packets to migrant families across 15 Delhi localities, becoming a lifeline for the most vulnerable.
We celebrated a profound milestone — having touched the lives of more than 20,000 individuals through our combined programs of food, medical, and community relief.
Our education program expanded significantly, providing school kits, scholarships, and learning resources to hundreds of underprivileged children across Delhi's urban communities.
When the pandemic struck in 2020, Mankind Welfare Organisation stepped up — becoming a frontline relief organisation for Delhi's most vulnerable.
The COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 left hundreds of thousands of daily wage workers, migrant labourers, and homeless families without food or income. Our volunteers, many of whom risked their own safety, worked around the clock to ensure no one was left without basic necessities. We coordinated with local authorities, donors, and partner organisations to reach the most inaccessible communities.
