Real lives. Real change. Every story here is a testament to what compassion and community can achieve.
In winter 2022, Ramesh Kumar, a daily wage worker from East Delhi, lost his job. Our volunteers delivered hot meals to his family of five every evening for three weeks until he found stable work. Today, he calls our food program a lifeline.
Priya, a 12-year-old from Karol Bagh, dropped out due to financial hardship. With our support, she received books, uniform, and a monthly scholarship. Today she ranks among the top students in her class, dreaming of becoming a doctor.
Elderly widow Savitri Devi could not afford her blood pressure medicines. Our medical aid team connected her with doctors and ensured she receives free medicines monthly. Her health has improved significantly and she now lives independently.
Malnourished street dogs near Patel Nagar were falling ill each summer. Our animal care volunteers established daily feeding stations, providing nutritious meals to over 50 strays and arranging veterinary check-ups for injured animals.
During the 2020 lockdown, hundreds of migrant families in Delhi had no food. Mankind Welfare mobilised 200+ volunteers to deliver over 10,000 meal packets across 15 localities in the first month alone, ensuring no family went to sleep hungry.
Every Sunday, our volunteers set up a community langar at Sadar Bazaar, Delhi, serving hot meals to hundreds of homeless individuals. A former beneficiary, Mohan Lal, now volunteers weekly. "Being fed with dignity changed my perspective on life."
When floods in August 2023 damaged homes of 40 families in East Delhi, children lost all school supplies. Within three days, our team distributed complete school kits — bags, books, stationery — to every child, ensuring none missed a single day of school.
Our free health camp in Trilokpuri screened 320 residents for diabetes, hypertension, and anaemia. Of these, 47 patients were identified with serious conditions and referred to partner hospitals for treatment — all at no cost to the families.
During Diwali 2023, our team distributed 200 kg of grain to cows along the Yamuna banks, distressed by noise and pollution. Working with local gaushalas, we ensured regular care continues through the festive season every year.
Your support — whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word — creates the next story of hope and transformation.
